This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join the growing team in our Compcut
advanced composite machining solutions product team.
We are looking for an experienced Production manager or Production engineer with
management experience / appetite to go into management to join the grown team in
compcut product division. The role will involve helping to build and scale the current
team and develop process systems to achieve target production growth. The ideal
candidate would have previous knowledge of production management with hands-on
mechanical engineering / fitting experience .
Preferred skills and requirements:
● Project management
● Knowledge of MRP and ERP and the implementation of these systems
● Experience with ISO9001 and similar quality standards
● Experience with middle management and team leading
● Mechanical fitting/assembly and basic engineering competence
● Excellent communication skills
● Enthusiastic, flexible and reliable and positive
● Commercial and contractual awareness with the ability to work to deadlines
● Ability to work as part of a team but also to work to own initiative and be self-motivated
● Attention to detail
● Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
● Proficient IT skills
This is a full time, permanent position based upon 40 hours per week, Monday to
Friday 7:00 until 15:30 with a 30 minute break. The annual holiday entitlement will be
20 days plus English bank holidays. Salary will be negotiable and dependent on
knowledge and experience.
